That is why we open our eyes to the needs of the people and through various projects we try to witness love through deeds and promote the health of the poorest: “My children, our love must not be limited to words and beautiful speeches; it must prove to be real and true through our actions. (The Bible, 1st John 3)
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
The Bible, Proverbs 31, 8-9
The word “UPPAHAR” is a male Indian first name and means “gift”. Where injustice is done to people and they are despised, it is our goal to give them appreciation and love – a dignity given to them by God. UPPAHAR is committed to this goal in the East Indian states of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh with a variety of projects and programs. This is made possible by our friends and supporters.
